Louise passed away peacefully and was reunited with the love of her life, Robert Reed, Sr. on January 21, 2022.
They were members of the First United Methodist Church in Crystal Lake for over 50 years. She was also a member of the McHenry County Marine Corps League Auxiliary Unit #419.
Louise and Bob owned and operated Reed’s Women’s Apparel and Wigs for 35 years in Crystal Lake. They were also sales reps for Cruises International of Schaumburg for 25 years. They both shared a passion for dancing and cruising with friends and family.
Louise was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished her time with them above all else.
She is survived by her three sons, Robert E. Reed, Sr. (Robin), Gary R. Reed (Cathy) and Bryan E. Reed (Lisa); her grandchildren, Heather (Greg) Mance, Chris, Patrick (Jessica), Jordan (Lauren), Joshua (Monica), and Hope; and her great-grandchildren, Olivia, Andrew, and Sawyer.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Walfred and Gertrude Carlson; brother, Wallace; and her grandson, Gary, Jr.
Louise led a full and beautiful life with her family and friends. She was loved and will be missed dearly.
