Lowell E. Johnson, M.D., of Barrington, formerly of Deerfield.
Born September 22, 1932 in Chicago to Edwin and Verna Johnson, he passed away January 18, 2016 in Elk Grove Village.
Lowell graduated from Northwestern Medical School in 1957 and practiced ophthalmology in Highland Park for 38 years.
Lowell is survived by his wife of 57 years, Millie; daughters, Pamela (John) Baratka, and Lisa (Brian) Dockery; grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah Ann (fiancé Austin), Jack, Kyle, and Eva; great grandchildren, Caelob, Taetym, and Amiya; and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Leslie; brothers, Grant and Clarke, and his parents.
A Celebration of Lowell’s life will be held at 2pm, Sunday, February 21 at the First Presbyterian Church of Deerfield, 824 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, IL 60015.
