Lydia E. Wurtel

Lydia E. Wurtel of Schiller Park, IL was born August 6, 1930 in Offenbach, Germany.  She passed away January 22, 2022 at the age of 91.

Lydia is survived by her son, Eric and daughter in law, Meme; brother, Karl Heinz and sisters, Renate and Ingrid.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred; parents, Ernst and Elizabeth; brother, Otto and sister, Ria.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 19 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.  Burial to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL with a short service in the chapel at 11:30.
