Lynn Carol (Gustafson) Hill

Lynn Carol Hill (nee Gustafson) was born on May 28, 1950.  She passed on to eternal glory on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at home in Cary with her wonderful husband, Bob, by her side.

Lynn fought a courageous battle with cancer for nine months, taking full charge of her remaining days doing the things she loved with the people she loved.

She leaves behind her dear husband of 20 years, Robert, and four amazing children, Todd (Julie) Entzminger, Heidi Entzminger, Erica Entzminger, and Jamie (Peter Penkava) Entzminger, and step children Kevin Hill and Jeff (Esther) Hill.  Her biggest blessings were her grandchildren, McKenna, Sloan, Paxton, Andrew, Austin, Benjamin, Jacob and Maxwell, as well as, little Morgan Lynn who will be joining the Penkava family in a few weeks.   She will also be greatly missed by her mother, Margaret Gustafson; her sisters, Karen (James) Queen and Janet Britton; brother, Charles (Kathy) Gustafson; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Walter Gustafson and brother, Chipper.

Lynn was a gifted seamstress and ran a very busy business from her home.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25th, from 2 pm until the time of a service at 6:30 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake.
