Lynn DiFlavio Zarka

Lynn DiFlavio Zarka passed away peacefully November 21, 2021 in Barrington. She was born May 9, 1949 in Chicago to Gene and Lorraine DiFlavio.  Lynn was a longtime resident of Palatine.

Lynn is survived by her son Jean-Paul (Antje Meissner) Zarka of Stevenage, England; granddaughter, Lina Malin Zarka, future granddaughter due in March ; sisters, Diane Korczynski, Deborah (Michael) Fragale, and Gale (Jeff) Ross; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Thomas Zarka; mother, Lorraine D. Lense; and father, Gene A. DiFlavio.

Lynn was proud to work as a flight attendant for United Airlines for 44 years.  Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother.

Visitation will be 3-7pm, Sunday, November 28 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am, Monday, November 29 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton St, Palatine.  Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
