M. Jones-Stewart

A memorial visitation for M. Charlean Jones-Stewart,90, of Barrington, IL, formerly of Vandalia and Greenville, will be held Friday, June 15, from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120  Ela St. (at the corner of Franklin St.), Barrington, IL.  Interment will be private.

Born February 18, 1922 in Stribling, TN, she passed away June 4, 2012 in Barrington surrounded by her loving family.

Prior to moving to Barrington, Charlean had lived most of her life in Vandalia and Greenville, IL.  She was known to as be a wonderful cook and homemaker.

Charlean is survived by her daughters, Phyllis (Craig) Hartman, Patty Tacy, and Brenda Jones; grandchildren, Andrew and Christopher Hartman, Justin, Dylan, and Ross Schlich and Christopher Tacy; great grandchildren, Cordelia, Timothy, Lucas, and Sophia Hartman; and siblings, Christine Nesvig, Harley Russell, and Garrett Russell . 

 She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Douglas Jones (1975), and her second husband of 19 years, Herbert Stewart (2010); her parents; and 6 siblings.

Visitation will be 9 a.m.-10 a.m., Friday, June15, followed by the Mass at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St (corner of Franklin St.), Barrington.  Burial will be private.
