Born June 23"", 1938 to Eduardo and Gorgonia (nee Aguila) Claudio, gently died amidst his loving family December 29, 2012. Surviving are his beloved wife of 47 years, Adelina, sons; Basil, Kevin (Leah), Kenneth Claudio, daughter Liesl C. Field (Charles), grandchildren; Marie Nicole, Ysabel Aurora, Indigo Aurora, and Alden Wissler, siblings late Eduardo (Mary Lou) Claudio Jr., Angelica (late Emilio) Francisco, Antonio (Encarnacion), late Amelita (late Manolito) Mariano, Honore (Mercedes) Claudio, and Jose (Virginia) Claudio, cousins,"" nieces and nephews.

Completed Internal Medicine Specialty at Cook County Hospital and Cardiopulmonary Fellowship at Hines VA Hospital. General Medical Director Fantus Clinic - Cook County Hospital. Founder - Director of Pulmonary Physiology Laboratory; Chief of Pulmonary Medicine; Medical Director Respiratory Care Department;  President"", Medical Staff ('89-'91) - Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. Chairman, Medical Department, Humana Hospital. Pulmonary Medicine Program Director and Clinical Assistant Professor, U of I College of Medicine. Master of Management, J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

He was in private practice with Adelina since 1971 until retirement in 2000.

Board of Director - RHAMC (formerly ALAMC) since 1992"", Board of Advisor - Catholic Charities since 1986. Memorial service will be at Holy Family Parish, Inverness, February 2nd. Visitation at 1 pm followed by a mass at 2:30 pm and reception to follow. Memorial donations to the Respiratory Health Association or to Catholic Charities are much appreciated.
