Marcella Ziemann

Marcella “Marce” Ziemann, of Arlington Heights, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at the age of 97.

She was born April 20, 1924 in Chicago, the only child of Philip and Martha (nee Schmidt) Behnke.

Marce was known for being creative, her beautiful holiday decorating, was an outstanding seamstress, and was a gifted pianist even into her 90’s. Above all, Marce was a loving and caring wife, mom and grandma.

Marce was the loving wife of the late Frank Warren; beloved mom of Lynn Ann (Philip) Edwards and Gail (Robert) D’Antonio; cherished grandma of Eric (Laura) Pitts and Frank D’Antonio; and loving great-grandma of Lee and Will Pitts.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 2nd, at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 720 Dundee Ave, Barrington, IL 60010. Burial will be held privately at Memory Gardens, Arlington Heights.
