Margaret “Peggy” Ambrosio, 76, of the Village of Lakewood, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at home with her loving family by her side.
Born May 14, 1937 in Utica, New York, she was the daughter of James and Margaret (nee Maloney) Loftis. She was united in marriage to Michael Ambrosio and they celebrated over 56 years of marriage.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Michael; her children, Michael (Brenda), Mark, and Joanne (Jeff) Hill; grandchildren, Kristy, Amanda, Eric, Trevor, Tyler, and Victoria; great-granddaughter Cali; and brother James T. Loftis.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her sister, Mary Bush.
The visitation will be held from 4-8pm, Sunday, April 13, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt. 176), Crystal Lake.
The funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday, April 14, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 932 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014, there will be a second visitation held one hour prior to the service at church.
Burial will be held privately at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, following the service.
