Margaret Beasley

Margaret Beasley (nee Ross), 74, of Crystal Lake and formerly Rolling Meadows, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at White Rose Manor in Petaluma, CA.

She was born May 17, 1940, in Flat Ridge, VA to the late Joe and Mae (nee Testerman) Ross and married the late Homer Beasley on May 29, 1964, in Chicago.

Margaret enjoyed going out to eat, collecting dolls, beanie babies and spoiling her grandkids. She loved going to the boat and playing the “wheel of fortune.”

Survivors include her children, Debbie Lessner, Stan Beasley, Tina (Phil) Stout and Cathy (Fred) Sanderson; grandchildren, Tyler and Amber Beasley, Lance and Troy Stout and Freddy Sanderson; and sister, Katherine Cline (nee Ross).

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Becky Beasley; grandson, James Beasley; and siblings, Virginia and Rob.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Sunday, October 19, 2014, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 20, at the funeral home with burial in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
