Margaret M. Komperda,64, a 32 year resident of Crystal Lake, passed away on May 31, 2011 in Crystal Lake. She was born October 4, 1946 in Chicago the daughter of Alphonse and Agnes Nothem.
Margaret was a 32 year parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She enjoyed watching movies in many genres.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Jim Komperda, whom she married on April 29, 1972; loving son Andy (Fiancé Abby) Komperda; and 2 nieces. She also leaves behind her friend Beau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Pauline.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 2-9 p.m., at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake. Prayer will be said on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Cary.
