Margaret Leslie Segersten

Margaret L. Segersten passed away peacefully July 23. 2024 in Arlington Heights. She was born March 27, 1968 in Waukesha, WI.

Margaret had an outgoing personality and lived life to the fullest. Whether bartending or working in an office she lit up the room. Margaret loved animals of all sorts and was an avid sports fan. She loved the Georgia Bulldogs, Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago Bears.

Memorial visitation will be 4-8pm Friday, July 26 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Funeral mass will be at 10am Saturday, July 27 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove. Interment will be private.

Margaret is survived by her parents, Frank and Mary Schmitt; siblings, James (Margaret) Segersten, and Ann Segersten; nephew, Shamus Segersten; and many extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Catherine “Katie” Segersten.
