Margaret “Peggy” Ann (Lesley) Franzese

July 15, 1950 — April 18, 2020

Davenport Barrington

Margaret (Peggy) was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She lived for being with
her family and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She always checked in on everyone to
make sure they were okay, and shared what was going on in everyone's life. She always thought of others
and was always the last one to sit down to dinner because she was making sure everyone had
everything they needed. She loved being outside and was outdoors every minute she could be, even
long after the sun went down. She loved her garden, her books, and lying on the couch sleeping, even
though she always told us she was watching the news. She loved cooking and baking, was always sharing
her favorite recipes with her kids, and baking with her grandchildren. She was always there for her
family, and traveled often to visit her kids and grandkids out of state. She is dearly loved and missed by
many, and her legacy of kindness and selflessness will be on the hearts of all of us forever.

She will be forever cherished by her husband, James, of almost 48 years; her children, Jennifer (Rick)
of Chicago, Nicholas (Kristen) of Huntington Beach, CA; Jonathan (Alicia) of Seattle, WA; and Melissa
(Eric) of Portage, MI; grandchildren, Lily, Declan, Olivia, Claire, Xavier, Piper, Solenne, Parker, and
Emma. She is further survived by her siblings, Jeanine and Kenneth.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Everest and Dorothy Lesley and her brother, Richard.

We miss you, Bubba, and we are sending you the waves!
