Marguerite Mehrtens

Marguerite A. Mehrtens, 84, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in Barrington. She was born October 5, 1930 in Reading, PA to Hans and Elsa (nee Ergenzinger) Korsch.

She is survived by her children, Jack Mehrtens, Lorraine Bartlett, Matt Mehrtens, Evelyn (Douglas) SymSmith, and Katie (Norie Knezetic) Mehrtens; her grandchildren, Dustin and Elly Mehrtens; Jeff and Kristen Bartlett; and Ian and Maggie SymSmith; and her brother, Peter (Gerry) Korsch.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Mehrtens; her brother, Bobby Korsch; and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am, Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Davenport Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook), Barrington, IL 60010. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.
