Maria Adamis (nee Agani), 82, of Mount Prospect, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in Crystal Lake.
She was the beloved wife of the late Panayotes Adamis; loving mother of Effie Adamis and Polly (Daniel) Gorski; cherished grandmother of Anastasia, Alexandra and Kathleen Gorski.
Visitation will take place from 4-8 pm with a Service at 6:30 pm on Friday, Feb. 10 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (IL Rt. 176) in Crystal Lake. Viewing at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 525 Church Rd., Elgin on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 11:30 am followed by Funeral Service at 12 pm. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens, Arlington Heights.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church.
