Maria Sudendorf

Maria L. Sudendorf, of Crystal Lake, passed away November 26, 2015 at the age of 80.
She was born January 29, 1935 in Chicago to Edward and Hertha (nee Reese) Kessling.

Maria worked for Movie Facts for over 30 years; eventually working her way up to becoming an office manager. She could always be found reading a book. When she wasn’t reading she was working on crossword puzzles, or crafting her dozens of creative Christmas cookies. Maria will be remembered for all her creative talents, but mostly for being a loving mother and Oma.

Maria is survived by her loving daughters, Maria Schoenfeldt and Tina Schmidt; and her cherished grandchildren, Emily, Alex, and Jessica Schoenfeldt, Madeline and Karalynn Schmidt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Josef Sudendorf.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 3-8p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake.
The funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, December 3, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
