Maria (Renedo) Warfield

Maria Warfield, 72, of Crystal Lake, was born on April 30, 1946 in Spain to Inocencio and Carmen Renedo. She passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Barrington.

Maria was a teacher at the Berlitz School of Languages in Chicago where she taught Spanish. She enjoyed spending her time in recent years knitting, crocheting, and painting.

She is survived by her children, Carmen Warfield, and Richard (Amanda) Warfield; and her grandchildren, Max, Rachel, Allison, Jacob, Anthony and Emily.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George, whom she married on February 5, 1966 in Madrid, Spain; her brother, Enrique Renedo; and her parents.

A memorial visitation will be held from 9am until time of memorial service at 11am, Monday, September 17, 2018 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. An inurnment will be held at Crystal Lake Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
