The Mass of Christian Burial for Mariann R. Leahy (nee Bullen),77, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, at St. Anne Church, 120 N. Ela St. (at the corner of Franklin St.), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
There will also be a visitation from 5-9 p.m., Monday, October 29, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.
Born June 1,1935, in Chicago to the late Vincent and Mathilda (nee Werner) Bullen, she died Saturday, October 27,2012, at her home.
Mrs. Leahy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a great friend to all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel J., whom she married May 21,1960, in Chicago; her daughters, Kathleen (Joe) Dolan, Mary Claire (Dave) Norstrom, Megan (Steve) Tilles, Patrice (Scott) Morgan, and Monica Leahy; grandchildren, Bryan and Sean Dolan, Erik and Grant Norstrom, Mackenzie, Ryan, Willy, and Melanie Tilles, and Abby, Caroline, Mary Claire, and Scotty Morgan; and her sister, Roberta (Ken) Hackbert.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Leahy was preceded in death by her son, Daniel.
