Marion Arlene Krause
Born October 26, 1934 in Chicago, the daughter of John and Eva Lucile (nee Rigsby) Manning, she passed away peacefully on March 16, 2016 in Elgin.
On September 18, 1954 Marion was united in marriage to Edwin C. Krause in Chicago and together they raised two children.
Marion enjoyed spending her time crafting with her friends, playing Bunco, counted cross stitch, music and singing.
In addition to her loving husband, Edwin, she will be dearly missed by her two children, Karen Lee (Patrick) Krause and Kevin Michael (Steven) Krause; her grandchildren, Amber Lee and Hannah Reese Phillips; her sister, Nancy (John) Kostelny; nephew, Richard A. Pain, Jr.; nieces, Susan (Sai) Opraseuth and Kathleen (Heribert) Stumpf; and her extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The visitation will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rte. 176) Crystal Lake. Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
