Marjorie G. Beattie, 83, of Barrington, died peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2014.
A devoted and loving mother, grandmother and friend, Marge is survived by her children, Mary (Dan) Binder, Bill (Diane) Beattie and Jeanne Beattie; grandchildren, Andrew, Cici and Anna Binder and Meagan, Madeline and Claire Beattie; sister-in-law, Eileen Butt; brother-in-law, Ken Smith; and sister –in- law Betty Vandehey; many nieces and nephews and her loving four-legged companion Buddy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill; infant son, Jimmy; brother, Harvey Butt; and sister, Audrey Smith.
Family and friends will be celebrating her life with a visitation from 4-8p.m., Thursday, March 20, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street, Barrington, 60010. A funeral service will be held at 12noon, on Friday, March 21, at the Presbyterian Church of Barrington, 6 Brinker Road, Barrington Hills, 60010. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington following funeral service.
