Marjorie "Marge" A. (Rogman) Schmidt

Marjorie A. Schmidt, 74, of Crystal Lake, passed away September, 23, 2017 unexpectedly from complications from surgery. She was born December 19, 1942 in Elgin to Milton and Alice (nee Gritmacker) Rogman.
Marge was full of life. She loved spending time in her garden and enjoyed the outdoors.
Marge is survived by her son, Jim Abatte; her mother, Alice Rogman; her brothers, Dan (Karen) Rogman, and Ken (Lenore) Rogman; her sister-in-law Carol Rogman; many nieces and nephews; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Schmidt; her son, Robert Abatte; her brother, Richard E. Rogman; and her father, Milton Rogman.
The family will receive guests from 9:45am until time of funeral service at 11am, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment to follow at Algonquin Township Cemetery, Algonquin, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Abatte family.
