Mark W. Henry
March 20, 1949 — December 9, 2017
Born March 20, 1949 in Dodge City, Kansas, the son of Warren R. and Evelyn (nee Mansker) Henry, Mark passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at his home in Barrington.
He had a long and respected career in the hospitality industry marked with success, awards, and many associates who became life-long friends. Mark enjoyed family, travel, reading, sports, and long walks in Cuba Marsh. He is dearly loved by many, and will be forever missed. There wasn’t a better man!
In addition to his loving wife, Kay, he is survived by his daughters, Jessica and Amanda Henry; mother, Evelyn Henry; brother, Patrick Henry; and sister, Lady Jane Percival.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren.
Friends are welcome to visit with Mark’s family on Wednesday, December 13, from 4-8 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington.
