Mark Sebastian, 50 passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2021. He was born in Chicago, IL on August 26, 1970 to Ricardo and Azucena Sebastian.
Mark lived life to its fullest. He was diagnosed with a late stage colon cancer in early 2010. In between chemotherapy and his treatments he trained as a triathlete later competing in Ironman races all while maintaining a demanding work life at AT&T Finance that he spent 22 years in.
Mark traveled around the globe, from Thailand to Poland, New Zealand to Egypt. He was an avid Chicago sports fan cheering on the Cubs, Bears and Bulls. He loved listening to cover bands of the 80s and going to music festivals.
Mark was a car enthusiast, throughout the years he has collected a few cars, his most favorite was the one that carried his bike rack for his races.
Mark was a doting uncle who got to spoil his niece and nephew, spent sleepovers at his house capped by a trip to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast.
Along with his parents, Mark is survived by his brother, Richard (Mercedes) Sebastian, his niece, Isabella, nephew Rocco and his beloved cat Allie.
He was preceded in death by his furry family Maria, Tabby and Lulu.

A visitation for Mark will be held from 2pm until the time of service at 6pm on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.
