Marlene (Millies) Laramie

Marlene Laramie, 77, of Crystal Lake, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.  She was born in Hammond, IN on October 6, 1944, to Leonard and Mildred (nee Lau) Millies.

Marlene’s children and grandchildren brought so much joy to her life.  Her family was her world, and she would do anything for them. She loved well and will be greatly missed.

With an unwavering faith in God, Marlene put her heart into all she did.   She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and thoroughly enjoyed serving where she was needed.

Marlene is survived by her children, Fred (Chrissy) Laramie, Todd (Danyel Karsten) Laramie, and Renee (Ty) Bentley; grandchildren, Katrina (Rigo) Sanchez, Aidan, Keara, Paige, Zandria, and Quentin Laramie, and Tobin and Cole Bentley; great grandchildren, Rigo, Maverick, and Levi Sanchez; siblings, Ron (Karen) Millies, Bob (Vicky) Millies, and Judy (Henry) Knueppel.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, from 11:00am until a service at 1:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.   Burial will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
