Martin Joseph Canello

Martin Joseph Canello, age 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Martin was born on May 2, 1929, in Chicago, IL. Martin is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Jean Canello (nee Galiano); his loving daughter, Diana (Kevin) Aranyi; treasured granddaughter, Amanda (Geon) Tillinghast; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Lillian Canello; Siblings, Joseph Canello, Rosaland Balesteri, Josephine Donati, and Marian Kennedy.

A visitation for Martin will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 4pm until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. A second visitation will be held the following morning from 9am until the time of Mass at 10am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
