Martin Gecan

Martin Peter Gecan, 80, of Barrington, died, June 9, 2014, in Barrington.
He was born July 22, 1933, to Martin P. and Amelia Gecan in Chicago.
Martin is survived by his loving children, Carolyn (Michael) Prete, Steven (Cathy) Jendrzejek and Martin Gecan Jr.; granddaughter, Breana Gecan; sisters, Loraine Prosek and Helen Mall.
He was preceded in death by his wife Suzanne Gecan and his parents.
Visitation will be held from 4-9p.m., on Friday, June 13, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street, Barrington, IL 60010.
Funeral service will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, June 14, at the funeral home, there will be a second visitation held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Entombment will be held at Windridge Cemetery, Cary following the service.
