Mary A. Lobraico

Mary A. (nee Soranno) Lobraico, 91, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2019 in South Elgin. She was born August 21, 1927 in Chicago to Dominico and Carmela (nee Sacchetti) Soranno. Mary was married to the love of her life, (the late) Joseph Lobraico, for more than 60 years.

Mary was a loving homemaker and caregiver for family members for many years. She enjoyed baking, sewing and reading. Mary’s favorite past time was spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her brother, Frank (Jean) Soranno; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lobraico; and her siblings, Katherine Swanson, Frances Duran, Martha Soranno, and Margaret Bergantino.

Mary’s family would like to extend a warm thank you to all the many caregivers that have cared for her over the past several years.

A visitation will take place from 11:15am until time of funeral Mass at 12:15pm, Friday, April 5, 2019 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin. Interment will be held privately.
