Mary Balabuszko

Mary J. Balabuszko, 94, of Rolling Meadows, died Thursday, August 29, 2013 in Crystal Lake surrounded by loving family.

She was born on October 25, 1918 to Joseph and Margaret Zukaukus in Dalkeith, Scotland.

Mary is survived by her children, Joseph (Julie) Balabuszko, Stanley (Theresa) Balabuszko, Mary (the late Roger) Sherman, Jan (Renee) Balabuszko, and Christine (Gary) Combs; grandchildren, Pamela (Jim) Balabuszko-Reay, Richard (Bridget Bugla), Rembrandt (Amy), Rachel (Victor Thompson) Balabuszko, Nicholas, Chloe, Jacob, Joseph, and Elizabeth Balabuszko; great grandchildren, Isabella and Isaac Balabuszko-Reay, Lillian Bugla, Sabrina, Logan, Clint, and Justice Balabuszko; step-grandchildren, Jeffrey (Vanessa) Sherman, and Tammy Sherman; step-great grandchildren, Austin Sherman and Devin Kurth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marian Balabuszko, and her parents.

Memorial visitation will be held from 3-8pm Saturday, August 31 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014, where there will be a service held at 7pm.

Burial will be held privately at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
