Mary E. Bell (nee Pentis),99, of Barrington, passed peacefully Tuesday, February 5,2013, at Plum Grove Nursing Home in Palatine.
Mary was born December 30, 1913 in Chicago to the late Anna and Frank Pentis. She loved traveling, enjoyed the theater, was active in The Civic Opera Guild and The Art Institute of Chicago. She loved to entertain and was a wonderful hostess.
Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Jo Bell (Langenfass) of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph M. Bell.
The services for Mary will be private.
