Mary H. Coutre, 86, of Crystal Lake, died, Sunday, October 12, 2014, at home.
She was born on April 26, 1928, to Joseph and Alice McGuiggan in Mapleton, Minnesota.
Mary enjoyed her volunteer work at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, the Little Christopher Resale Shop, the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Salvation Army Golden Diners, and NISRA.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Karen (Mark) Kearns, Thomas (Renae) Coutre and Patricia (Robert) Davies; grandchildren, Stephen Kearns, Patrick Kearns, Jennifer (Ric Gil) Coutre, Ryan (Danielle) Coutre, Brandie Laskey, Mary Pat Davies and Teresa Davies; great-granddaughter, Ella Coutre; sisters-in-law, Donna McGuiggan, Rita Kelley, Ramona Coutre and Marcia Coutre; brother-in-law, Ed Coutre; cousin, Monsignor Joseph Mountain and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Thomas W. Coutre Sr.; her parents; a brother, Robert McGuiggan; in-laws, Ted Coutre, Bill Kelley, Larry Coutre, Paul and Claudia Coutre, Eva Coutre, Marion Coutre, Jacques Coutre; and cousin, Fr. John Mountain.
Visitation will be held from 9a.m., until transfer prayers at 10:30a.m. Monday, October 20, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11a.m., Monday, October 20 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
Burial will be held privately at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, Libertyville.
