Mary Damgaard

Glenwood, Illinois,A graveside service for Mary Damgaard, 85, of Glenwood, will be held at 11 AM, Friday, July 16, 2010 at Ridgewood Cemetery, 9900 Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines. The Reverend Dr. Curtis Baxter will officiate. Born January 8, 1925, in Chicago she passed away peacefully in Geneva, Saturday, July10 2010. Mary worked in administration at Oak Forest Hospital in Oak Forest. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and was an avid reader. Survivors include her twin sister, Evelyn Damgaard; cousins, Ronald (Sara) Damgaard, Kenneth (Elaine) Damgaard, Laura Damgaard, Nancy (Scott) Wahl, Paula (Paul) Guzzetta, Kristine (Michael) Dabadie, Karen Damgaard and Karl (Stephanie) Damgaard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Niels and Anna (nee Rolighed) Damgaard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Michealsen Health Center, 831 N Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL 60510.
