Born to Maurice and Beatrice Boyer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 9, 1913, Mary passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2014 in Barrington at the age of 100.
Mary was a fiercely independent woman and was lovingly dedicated to her family, including the many animals she had throughout her lifetime. She will be dearly missed by her family and the many friends she made.
Mary is survived by her children, Randy (Kim), Kim (Mary), Shelley (Bob); grandchildren, Meredith, Elizabeth, Stacey, Randy Jr., Will, Lily, Carolyn, and Jamie; 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Bill and George.
A brief visitation will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 337 Ridge Road, Barrington, IL 60010. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
