Mary Margaret (Marassa) Latronico

Mary M. Latronico (nee Marassa), age 99, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 7, 2020 with her loving family by her side.

Mary was born in Chicago, IL on June 15, 1921. She loved her family, praying the rosary, walks, chocolates, watching Chicago baseball, good romance novels, her shrimpies (fried shrimp) and an occasional cold beer.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Joseph (Velma) Latronico and Mary Ann Murach; grandchildren, David, Brian, Julie, Patrick, Kristen, Jonathan, Caitlin, Jessica, and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Mathew, Tyler, Courtney, Alicia, Zachary, Emma, Benjamin, Amelia, Claire, Francesca, and Zoey.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, and her eldest son Michael (LaVerne).

A Memorial Mass and rosary will be held for Mary at 12:30 on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Saint Anne Catholic Community, 120 N Ela Rd, Barrington, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
