Mary V. Lorentz

Mary V. Lorentz, age 96, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly in Palatine IL. She was born February 15, 1922 in St. Louis MO. the only child of Flossie and Roscoe Graff.

Mary was happily married for 71 years to her high school sweetheart, the late Myron Lorentz. She is survived by her two children: daughter Katie Bruce (Frank), and son Richard Lorentz (late Diane); grandchildren Lisa Henson and Tracy Dorfner (Joe), cherished great grandmother of Hailey, Adam, Kelly and Caitlyn.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 12 noon to 2 PM at St. Joseph’s Home at 80 W. Northwest Hwy in Palatine. Funeral mass to follow at 2 PM at St. Joseph’s Home. Burial will take place next week in Atlanta, to be buried next to her loving husband at Georgia National Veterans Cemetery.
