Mary Therese Pollasky

Mary Therese Pollasky, 68, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away peacefully at her home on October 9, 2021. She was born on September 21, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI to Kenneth and Joan Mathewson.

A woman of devout faith, deep love for her family and a knack for intellect— Mary is someone who left the world a more beautiful place. Upon graduating from college she worked as an auditor for Arthur Young & Co., later becoming a financial analyst for Schlitz Container. In 1980 she became a mother and realized her greatest passion— to raise her family.

Mary will be deeply missed by her loving husband Arthur G. Pollasky, married on June 24, 1977 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her children Michael (Amy), Anne (Phil), Susie and Claire (Nate); and grandchildren Conner, Kalena, Cambria, Cassius, John Phillip and Lisa.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 3 PM until 7 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Monday, October 18, 2021 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. A private family burial will take place on Tuesday at Wisconsin Memorial Cemetery, Brookfield, WI.
