Mary Rhoades

Crystal Lake, Illinois,Mary Rhoades (nee Finken), 89, of Crystal Lake, IL, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2011, in McHenry, IL. She was born in Bryan, OH, to William and Cora (nee Easler) Finken on December 22, 1921. Mary loved working with children; for many years she was a teachers Aid working with handicapped children. She also enjoyed her job with the Extended Care Program at O.L.P.H school in Toledo, OH. She loved watching the Detroit Tigers on TV, playing card games with her grandchildren, and some of her favorite games were war and goldfish. She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann (Joe) Subleski; grandchildren Adrianne Subleski of Toledo, OH, Adam Subleski, Alana Subleski; niece, June Shook, special friend Terrie Hoven and her GrandAnimals Heath Cliff and Allie. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Adrian Rhoades whom she enjoyed life with for more than 47 years; brothers, Arthur Finken, Walter Finken, Robert Finken and Clarence Finken, and her parents.
