Mary Rieken

Woodstock, Illinois,Mary J. (Masten) Rieken, 93 of Crystal Lake, Illinois entered eternal life on Friday, April 23, 2010 in McHenry, Illinois. On June 27, 1916 she was born to LouAnn (Woodrum) and Ezra Masten in Ashland, Illinois. She was a graduate of Tallula High School, Tallula, Illinois and enjoyed being a homemaker. Her survivors include her son, William (Judy) Miles of Woodstock, Illinois; her daughter, Donna Berardo of Bermuda Dunes, California; her step-daughter, Suzanne (Melvin"Bud") Schoneweis of Petersburg, Illinois; her step-son, Homer "Graham" (Carol) Rieken of Ashland, Illinois; nine grandchildren and their spouses; four step-grandchildren and their spouses; twenty one great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers. Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Howard w. Miles; her second husband, Oscar Rieken; her son, Thomas Miles; her grandson, Charles Miles; her step-grandson, Greg Schoneweis; her sister Mildred; and her brother, Warren. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, May 2 at Peter Cartwright Methodist Church in Pleasant Plaines, Illinois. The visitation will be held at 9:30am, Saturday, May 8 with the funeral service to follow at 10:30am at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W Main St, Barrington. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary?s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
