Mary Ann Schaeffer

Mary Ann Schaeffer, 74, longtime resident of Buffalo Grove, IL passed away peacefully on February 15, 2022. She was born on April 23, 1947 in Grand Mound, IA to Holgar and Adeline Bengtson.

Mary enjoyed reading and was an avid collector of dolls, bears and spoons.

Mary will be deeply missed by her loving children, Jeremy and Emily (Kyle Keith) Schaeffer; grandchildren, Tyler and Justin Schaeffer; her siblings, Janet (Darrell) Wiener, Harlan (Kathy) Bengtson, Phyllis Bengtson and Judy (late Gary) Stouffer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Ray Schaeffer and by her parents, Holgar and Adeline Bengtson.

Memorial service will be private.
