Mary Schaible
January 27, 1938 — June 23, 2016
Mary Louise Schaible, “Aunt Lou”, 78, of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 27, 1938 in Chicago to James and Elsie (nee Quinn) Wright.
Mary was an avid dancer, particularly the Cha-Cha, loved garage sales, was an accomplished Scrabble player and enjoyed playing canasta.
Mary will be deeply missed by her six children, John (Yoneko) McMenamy, Jim (Jenny) McMenamy, Louise McMenamy, Ron McMenamy, Michael (Helena) McMenamy, and Karen (Kevin) Sheibley; her loving grandchildren, Eriko, Chiaki, Kazunati, and Akemi, Andy, Ann, Angel, Jason, Amber, Zane, and Holly; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Michael, Dylan, Ryland, Kavin, Kailie, and Hunter; sister, Penelope Centanni.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Schaible.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, June 25 from 4-8pm with a memorial service beginning at 7:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
