Mary Staros
August 5, 1957 — August 13, 2016
Born August 5, 1957 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to Joseph and Norma (nee Greskoviak) Harvath, Mary passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the age of 59.
As a volunteer, she was dedicated to teaching kindergarten and fourth graders at Sunny Hill Elementary School. Mary was an avid gardener and had a life-long interest in home design. Above all, Mary was dedicated to her family with a keen interest in educational growth.
In addition to her loving husband, Eric, she is survived by her two sons, Theodore and Basil Staros; her siblings, Michael, Theresa, Richard, Christopher, Jean, Katherine, Anthony, Jerome, and Bernard.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.) Barrington. Interment will be private.
