Mary Ann Noles

Mary Ann Noles, 86, of Woodstock, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 15, 2022.

She was born June 18, 1936 in Barrington, the daughter of the late John Carl and Marie Anna (Pepper) Clinge.

On September 5, 1959, Mary Ann was united in marriage to Marion Noles in Crystal Lake.

Mary Ann was a housewife and mother first and foremost.  Mary Ann had many jobs in her life that included working for the phone company before she married, working for family friends at their dry cleaners, a shoe store and finally working for District 200 as a "lunchroom lady".  The job she was most proud of was being a wife and mother.  Mary Ann was also the family historian with all the stories of the past.  She knew who was who and who was married to who and which kids belonged to which parents.  If anyone wanted to know anything they called Mary Ann and she loved it.  Mary Ann touched many lives and anyone who met her was better for it, she loved many and was loved by many more.   Many of the nieces and nephews were blessed to have gotten home made afghans made especially for them by Aunt Mary Ann.

In addition to her husband, Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Pamela; and her siblings, John (Madylon) Clinge, David (Ruthann) Clinge, and Donna (the late Ben) Etters; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and very special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy; and daughter, Robbie.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. Burial will follow at McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
