Maxine L. Frasier, 79, of Woodstock and formerly of McHenry, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 in Woodstock. Born on August 29, 1935 in Canton, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Ira and Adeline (nee Wiser) Hyland. On September 25, 1954 in Chetek, Wisconsin, she was united in marriage to Russell L. Frasier.
Maxine had been an active member in the Eastern Star and was a Worthy Matron; she was also involved with the American Legion Auxiliary. Maxine loved knitting and crocheting and tinkering on the computer but most of all loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, James (Chris) Frasier of Burbank, IL, Dale (Kathy) Frasier of Easley, SC, Kimberly Frasier of Woodstock, and Kay-Anne (David) Toppel of Elizabethtown, KY; her grandchildren, Amy (Jodey) Schmiedekamp of McHenry, Brent (fiance Courtney) Frasier of Anderson, SC, Tony (Charity) Frasier of Round Lake, Barb (Robert) Entzminger of Bartlett, and Amy (Jason) Adcox of MA; five great-grandchildren, Hailey and Ashleigh Schmiedekamp and Logan, Madison, and Grayson Entzminger; brother, Robert (Billie) Hyland of Lakewood, WA; step-brothers, Delbert (Shirley) Crotteau of Hutchinson, MN and Morris (Jeanie) Crotteau; sister-in-law, Bev Hyland of Chippewa Falls, WI; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Edwin Hyland and William (Della) Hyland; step-mother, Catherine Hyland; and step-sister, Valencia Hyland.
Visitation will be held from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am, Monday August 24 at Windridge Memorial Park Chapel, 7014 South Rawson Bridge Road, Cary. Burial will immediately follow.
