Megan Parkinson (MacDonald) Chamberlain

Megan Parkinson Chamberlain, age 36, passed away June, 24 2021. She was born May, 19 1985 in Norwood, MA to Steven and Diane MacDonald.

Family was everything to her, especially her three beautiful children, who were her world. One of Megan’s goals in life was to make people happy and was relentless in her pursuit. She was admired for her strong spirit, her humor and her empathy. Megan brightened the lives of everyone around her with an infectious laugh, an open heart and a smile that couldn’t be ignored. A lover of nature and camping, she spent a lot of time hiking and taking pictures with her family. The ocean and the Rocky Mountains were two of her favorite places. She was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where she fell in love during a dance in the rain.

She is survived by her husband Matthew Chamberlain, three children; Faith Marie, Charlotte Grace and Ryan Paul, her father Steven MacDonald, sister Carrie Parkinson, brother Joey MacDonald, aunt Debbie Tripp and grandmother Priscilla Parkinson. A celebration of life will be held Friday July, 2nd at 11 AM at Willow Creek Church, Crystal Lake, IL.
