Michael Acerra

Barrrington, Illinois,Michael C. Acerra, 90 Barrington Hills, entered eternal life on March 22, 2010. He was born December 24, 1919 to Vincent and Maria (Rinaldi) Acerra in Kenosha, WI. After his Army service in World War II, Michael became a general contractor and built many quality homes and buildings in the greater Chicago area. He is survived by his wife, Lynn nee Rhymer; three children, Michael (Heather), Marc, Michelle (William) Coleman; nine grandchildren, Kristi (Scott) Sampson, Patric Keane, Tyler and Eric Abbott, Luke and Alec Acerra, Victoria and Anna Coleman, Brooke Acerra; one great grandchild, Ryan Sampson; one sister, Frances (Edward) Dabbert and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia (Acerra) Keane; three sisters, Mary (Frank) Cognato, Jean (Albert) Monti, Vanita (William) Olliges. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Michael?s name to the Alzheimer?s Association of America 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, Ill. 60601 and the Michael Joseph Foundation, PO Box 1745, Barrington, IL 60011.
