Michael Breslin

Barrington, Illinois,A funeral Mass for Michael Herman Breslin, 18, who died suddenly on October 10 2009, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, at St. Anne Church, at the corner of Ela and Franklin Streets, in Barrington, Illinois. Visitation will precede the Mass, from 9:00-11:00 am, at the Church. Internment is private. Michael lives on cherished in the hearts of his parents John and Sandra (Rieken) Breslin, his brothers Matthew and Joseph, his sister Genevieve, his grandparents Michael and Catherine Breslin, Herman and Marie Rieken, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom love him dearly. Michael loved to fish, camping, and the outdoors, and taught many younger kids how to fish. He was great with kids, including his many cousins, from the start, and this translated into a great love of his friends as he grew up. Mike had a tremendous energy and independence of spirit. He was a natural musician and loved many different styles of music. He played sports and enjoyed following his favorite teams. He is missed with a pain that aches and is consoled only by his eternal life and our anticipation of seeing him again some day.
