Michael A. Popow

Michael A. “Mike” Popow , 53 years old of Ingleside, IL passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at JourneyCare Hospice, Barrington, IL. He was born February 21, 1968 in Chicago, IL.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Nicole and Maggie Popow; his ex-wife, Susan Popow; his mother, Janet Rapp; his brothers, Randall and Richard Rapp; and many friends and family.

His family and friends are left devastated. He touched everyone with his hospitality and generosity towards others. Mike was a family man to say the least. From cooking breakfast in the morning for his family to helping a stranger with a dead car battery, he would do anything for family, friends, and even strangers. He not only did these kind acts with no hesitation, but also with a smile on his face. Mike will be remembered by all who knew him.
