Mildred P. "Millie: Hickey, 92, of Fox River Grove formerly of Brownsville, Texas, passed away peacefully Jan 27, 2013 at Hearthstone Manor in Woodstock.
She was born May 8, 1920 in Chicago, daughter of the late Frank and Rose nee Bozovsky Cerny.
Millie worked for Woodworth's in Brownsville, TX for many years. She enjoyed crafts and attending craft shows. She was a great neighbor and friend to all who knew her.
Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hickey; sisters, Clara and Marie; and brother, Stanley.
A memorial service for Millie will be held on Wednesday, January 30 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rte. 176) Crystal Lake, where guests are welcome at 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. Inurnment will be private at St. John Nepomucene Cemetery, Fox River Grove.
