Millicent Woods

Milly was born February 25, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to Bernard and Millicent Harris. She passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Barrington.
Milly graduated from Allegheny College with a degree in Economics. She worked for the Higbee Department Store for several years and taught computer programming at her son’s elementary school as a volunteer.
Milly is survived by her son, Nathan (Peggy) Woods; grandchildren, Nolan and Anne; sister, Nancy O’Reilly; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held 2pm until the time of the prayer service at 5pm Sunday, December 13, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington. Burial will be held privately in Meadville, PA.
