Nancy Kay Case

Nancy Kay Case, of Palatine, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2022 at the age of 72. She was born November 8, 1949 in Greenville, MS, the daughter of the late Stanley and Sarah Fisher.

Nancy is survived by her children, Rebecca and David (Wendy) Case; her granddaughters, Madeline and Meredith Case; and her sister, Vicki Welch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard after a short 11 months.

She was an excellent role model, setting boundaries and rules while being kind, patient, and supportive.  Her biggest accomplishment was creating a solid foundation for her family.  She enjoyed joining friends for an occasional dinner and a movie, crocheting, long weekends with her husband of 50 years in Las Vegas, and travelling with her grandchildren regardless of the destination.  She wished to be remembered and acknowledged as a devoted wife, loving mother, loyal sister, unselfish friend, and gentle grandmother.

The funeral Mass for Nancy will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with visiting beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Parish, 10 N Buffalo Grove Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089.
