Nancy Fidler

Holiday Hills, Illinois,Visitation for Nancy Kay Fidler (nee Lorenz), 58, of Holiday Hills will be held Thursday, April 21, from 3-9 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W Main St. (Lake Cook Rd), Barrington. The service and interment will be private. Born October 26, 1952, in Chicago, she passed away April 18, 2011 in Barrington. Nancy was an executive secretary at the Barrington Fire Department for 27 years. She was active in the Illinois Fire Chief?s Secretary Association and held various offices. She was also active in the Barrington Area Emergency System and Barrington Redwing Hockey organization for several years. Nancy enjoyed traveling, yoga, playing golf, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Peter S. Fidler; children, Kimberly A. (Chris) Lubbring, Karl B. (Rachel) Plancon, and Kelley C. (Jim) Leach; grandchildren, William and Chloe Lubbring, Dominik Plancon, and Hayden and Mackenzie Leach; brother, Delmar "Chip" (Peggy) Lorenz Jr., and sisters, Pat (Bob) Pethes and Lana (Steve) Gibbons. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth C. Fidler, and her parents, Ruth Ann and Delmar Lorenz Sr.
